This handmade paper bowl starts with recycled shredded paper, cotton rag and many, many marigold petals from flowers growing in my vegetable garden. After the bowl has been cast a watercolor illustration of this delicate flower was hand painted. (Despite being offensive to many insects the marigold flower is thought to have healing properties for the skin.)
this bowl measure 8.5 inches in diameter and is not suitable for liquids or unwrapped food.
